The dog-loving city of Toronto is home to one of the most popular pet adoption websites, Craigslist.
But a new study suggests the city’s most popular dogs, and the ones most likely to be adopted, aren’t the ones you might think.
In a series of tests, Toronto found that the city of 20 million is far more likely to have adopted a pet than the city with the lowest number of pets.
The study’s results, released Monday, come as the city prepares for a big increase in its pet-sitting and animal-rescue requirements.
The results are consistent with a study published in April by Toronto researchers, who found that dog adoption rates among the city are much higher than expected.
They also suggest that the vast majority of the citys population is adopting pets from other cities.
“The findings are not surprising,” said study co-author and PhD candidate Laura Kiley, who has been studying pet adoption in Toronto for years.
A new study shows that Toronto has the highest dog-siting and animal rescue rate in the world, compared to the rest of Canada.
But there are some big caveats to that, Kiley said.
For starters, the study found that Toronto doesn’t have an extensive list of breeds that are used in pet adoption, and that there is a wide range of breeds in Toronto.
That makes it difficult to compare rates, Kollie said.
She also said that it’s difficult to measure how many pets a city has, because it is impossible to track people across multiple cities.
In a city like Toronto, the people who come in and take the dogs for their own are often strangers who don’t necessarily know the breed or the owner, she said.
“You’re looking at this in the context of this incredibly dense population of people living in the city,” she said, adding that Toronto’s dog-rescuing rates are far higher than those of other Canadian cities.
Toronto also has a higher rate of animal-shelter adoption than other large cities.
Kiley also said it’s not clear whether these higher rates are due to better sheltering efforts or higher adoption rates because of more stringent requirements for adopting pets.
The study also found that many of the pets that end up in Toronto are adopted out by owners who are not the same people who have fostered them.
Toronto’s pet adoption rate was around 60 per cent, while the rest were taken by people who were previously adopted, said Kiley.
Although this study shows Toronto is the most dog-friendly city in the country, it doesn’t mean there aren’t some dogs who could benefit from some extra attention.
“There are a lot of dogs in Toronto who could use some love and attention, and some who don´t need that, but they could benefit,” Kollia said.

Toronto has one of Canada’s most active dog rescue groups, the RSPCA.
But Kolli said it is unclear if the city has enough resources to adequately train rescuers to spot and intervene in the problems of pets who are becoming too aggressive or clingy.
She said it would also be interesting to know how many dogs the city is keeping, so the rescuers could be more effective.
The results from the study also suggest the city may be more than just a dog-hating city.
“We’re talking about a lot more than cats, people, dogs,” Kiley noted.
“In some ways, we’re a bit of a dog city, and we’re not just that, we are a bit dog-y.”
It’s very hard to pinpoint where you get the majority of dog adoption from, but we do have a lot going on in the animal-population sector,” she added.
Canada’s most populous city, Toronto, has an estimated population of about 21 million, according to the city.
And Toronto is far from the only city with a high dog-related adoption rate.
New York, which has a population of just under 10 million, has the most dogs in the United States.
